After raising 3 small children and working part time in the healthcare field, I decided to go back to school for massage therapy. Little did I know that I was entering into a field that I would change my life. I graduated from the Muscular Therapy Institute in Cambridge, MA where I received a wonderful education in massage therapy based on a program developed by Ben Benjamin, well known author and massage therapist. My massage is basically Swedish with other techniques added in that I’ve learned along the way such as craniosacral and neuromuscular. I am also a Reiki level II practitioner.

I worked a Wentworth Douglass Hospital in Dover in the Integrative Therapies Dept. For six years doing massage and Reiki for both patients and community members. This gave me the opportunity to work with a wide range of individuals from patients battling cancer to new moms on the birth center. I am also certified in geriatric massage. I lover this work because it truly is amazing to be able to lay your ands on someone and make them feel better. I feel like in life we need people to help us along the way.  I feel like am able to contribute something to this planet by helping to make people feel better one at a time.
